The leaders of the American Football Verband Deutschland, the German Football League and the European League of Football met last Friday in Berlin.
During the four-hour constructive meeting, various fundamental issues were discussed. The basic tenor was to leave the past behind and to find a basis for solutions in the interest of the athletes and players in the clubs and teams as well as the fans. There was immediate agreement that communication among each other is the first important step.

There were also good approaches for a possible regulation of player transfers as well as the coordination of the schedules, especially the finals.
On the subject of the national team, the European League of Football announced that a match-free weekend in August had been blocked for possible national team action.Other topics have been discussed in this regard, which will then be dealt with in further talks.
