The Centurions re-sign a cornerstone on their offensive line for the 2022 season in the European League of Football.

The Cologne Centurions re-sign offensive lineman and local hero Frederick Weinreich to their 2022 roster, as the team reported.

Brother and starting quarterback Jan Weinreich will get an important player on his offensive line back which helped the team to reach the playoffs in 2021. Running back Madre London will also profit from Weinreich being back with the team as the 2021 MVP found huge holes to run through thanks to his dominant offensive line up-front last season.

Centurions’ general manager David Drane weighed in on re-signing Weinreich for the 2022 season, via the Centurions social media outlets:

“Fred [Weinreich] is a hard-nose type of guard who brings a lot to the team. He was another major reason for the success of our offense, and he is working hard in our off-season program with the Develop Athletes and Rhein Gym team to be ready for 2022. We are glad to have yet another „ Kölsche Jung” on board!”
