What is certain, however, is that league CEO Zeljko Karajica and Commissioner Esume will present the European League of Football trophy to the winner after the Championship Game in Duisburg. Who will follow Frankfurt Galaxy (2021 in Düsseldorf) and Vienna Vikings (2022 in Klagenfurt), who each won the final against Hamburg Sea Devils?
"We are very proud that 20.000 fans have already secured their ticket for the Championship Game in Duisburg - almost four months before the first game! This is a huge incentive for us, and we are working hard to improve in all areas and deliver an even better product. The league is growing from twelve to 17 franchises, the competition is getting tougher, and the level is rising," says CEO Karajica.
In addition to Berlin Thunder, Hamburg Sea Devils, Frankfurt Galaxy, Cologne Centurions, Leipzig Kings, Rhein Fire, Stuttgart Surge (all Germany), Vienna Vikings, Raiders Tirol (both Austria), Panthers Wrocław (Poland) and Barcelona Dragons (Spain), six new teams will join the league: Munich Ravens (Germany), Milano Seamen (Italy), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), Helvetic Guards (Switzerland), Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary) and Paris Saints (France).
