The Hamburg Sea Devils have appointed former All-Star linebacker Miguel Boock as their Director of Sports for the 2024 season. The 31-year-old will be in charge of the franchise's sporting fortunes with immediate effect and will be in direct contact with head football coach Matt Johnson, his new staff and the players to discuss the team's direction, as the team announced via a press release.

A known face for fans and players

"I am honored and happy to take on the position of Director of Sports at the Hamburg Sea Devils. It means a lot to me to take on this role, especially with an organization that I have known since day one. I look forward to contributing to the success and growth of our organization with dedication and passion, working with the team and creating a culture of success," said Miguel Boock, who made two finals appearances with the Sea Devils as a player in 2021 and 2022. Boock knows newly assinged head coach Matt Johnson from his time in Kiel.
