Berlin Thunder re-sign homegrown linebacker Paul Seifert

Closing out October, Berlin Thunder re-sign another homegrown athlete for the 2024 campaign: Paul Seifert. The 1,82 m and 84 kg heavy linebacker born in Düsseldorf will enter his fourth season in Berlin. Improving from year to year, Seifert had 90 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and 7 tackles for loss in 2023, also catching two interceptions in the regular season.

Finding success in the German capital

At just 26-years-old, Seifert started playing for the TFG Typhoons, before joining the Berlin Rebels and Stockholm Mean Machines in Sweden. With Berlin Thunder in die ELF, he has found his home and developed greatly under defensive coordinator und Assistant Coach of the Year nominee Christopher Kuhfeldt.

Paul Seifert is the fifth player to be re-signed after Aaron Jackson, Robin Wilzeck, Kyle Kitchens, Ludvig Myren.
