The Hamburg Sea Devils extend John Levi Kruse for another year, securing the services of the versatile model athlete. The 24-year-old tight end was also used as a fullback and longsnapper last season, adding depth to the squad on offense and special teams. It was not without reason that the NFL invited him to last year's NFL International Scouting Combine in London.

"There is only one goal: Klagenfurt. We want to bring the Championship Trophy to my city and our city. Prove them wrong! "is Kruse being quoted in the press release of the Hamburg Sea Devils.

At 1.92 meters tall and 110 kg in body weight, the Hamburg native is big target to throw to and big body to move.

"With players like Levi, we get strong quality on both offense and special teams. I have already watched Levi last season and at our try-out and I am looking forward to the upcoming season from him", Kirk Heidelberg explains enthusiastically about the all-round talent.

Kruse hauled in 101 yards on 11 catches and 2 touchdowns last season.
