Raiders Tirol re-sign homegrown hero Adrian Platzgummer

"The outcome of our last season was unworthy of an organization like us Raiders, including players and fans."

In a great but anticipated move, the Raiders Tirol have re-signed wide receiver Adrian Platzgummer for the 2024 season. At 28-years old, Platzgummer has been with the Raiders organization since 2001, together with his younger brother Sandro. He’s been Austrian Champion with the Swarco Raiders six times, also winning the European national team Championship this fall with teammates like Philipp Haun and others.

"He has set a standard"

Adrian Platzgummer: "The outcome of our last season was unworthy of an organization like us Raiders, including players and fans. It won't happen again. I want to and will be the best leader and captain the Raiders, my teammates and our fans have ever experienced."

Ulz Däuber, General Manager Football: "Leadership in the locker room determines success on the field. That’s what AP brings to this team. With his work ethic and production in every aspect of life, he has set a standard in the Raiders organization that everyone adheres to."
