Saturday’s Top Performer: Ben Holmes

In the tight Semi Final win of the Vienna Vikings over the Nordic Storm, quarterback Ben Holmes once again proved why he is one of the league’s best playmakers. Holmes delivered a strong performance, completing 22 of his 29 passes for 260 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

"I want more"

Holmes showed his trademark composure and experience on the big stage. He connected with seven different receivers, spreading the ball across the field. Even when the Storm defense put him under heavy pressure, Holmes found ways to escape and deliver - using side-arm throws to get the ball out and keep drives alive.

Speaking after the game, Holmes stayed focused on the bigger goal: "We’re not done yet. Of course, I’m happy, but I want more. We had a couple of drives we couldn’t finish, and that can’t happen if we want to win the championship. But we will work on it," Holmes said.

His ability to keep the Vikings’ offense moving against one of the league’s strongest defenses was key to the 28-20 victory. With this win, the Vikings advance to their second straight ELF Championship Game, and Holmes will once again be at the center of the team’s title hopes.
