Record attendance at Championship Game 2024

The Championship Game of the European League of Football has set a new record attendance. On Sunday, Rhein Fire won 51:20 (30:13) in front of an ELF record crowd of 41,364 at FC Schalke 04's VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen against the Vienna Vikings, who had been undefeated in the 2024 season, and defended their title.

The previous attendance record in the ELF has stood since June 11, 2023, when 32,500 spectators witnessed the duel between the Sea Devils and Rhein Fire in Hamburg's Volksparkstadion, who later won the Championship Game against Stuttgart Surge in front of 31,500 spectators in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg.
