"Not sad, totally happy" - Clark on eliminating Fire
Felix Pahl

For Nordic Storm quarterback Jadrian Clark, the Wildcard win over his former team Rhein Fire was especially meaningful. Just a week earlier, Storm had lost to Fire in the final regular season game.
After being named Man of the Match, Clark shared his thoughts in an interview with ProSieben MAXX and explained how important it was to bounce back: "The loss last week was of course very frustrating, which is why we cleaned everything up to win this week."
"The win is the only thing that counts"
Having played two seasons with Rhein Fire before joining Storm, Clark was asked if he had mixed emotions about eliminating his former team. His answer was clear: "I was not sad, I am totally happy. The win is the only thing that counts."
"Coach Shoop is super smart"
Clark also praised his connection with Head Coach John Shoop, who has been instrumental in Storm’s success in their debut season. "Coach Shoop is super smart, we understand each other very well, and he calls the perfect plays at the perfect time. So I can give the ball to my playmakers."
"The game against the Vikings will be tough"
Next up for Clark and the Nordic Storm are the East Divison champions, the Vienna Vikings, who secured the #1 seed. Clark knows it will be a tough challenge: "The game against the Vikings will be tough. Coach Calaycay’s defense is very good and will be a hard task."
On the road to Stuttgart
With his leadership and sharp play, Clark has already guided the Nordic Storm into the Semi Finals in their very first ELF season. Now, with the Vikings waiting, he is ready for another test on the road to the Championship Game in Stuttgart.
