Milano Seamen part ways with longtime QB Luke Zahradka

The Milano Seamen will have a new quarterback under center in 2024. The Italian franchise announced that the team and quarterback Luke Zahradka are parting ways after six seasons.

The former Division II quarterback joined the Seamen in 2017, after spending four seasons in Germany, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic. Zahradka won three Italian Bowls and two Italian Bowl MVPs with Milano and will go down as one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Zahradka played well, despite ending his first season in the ELF with a 2-10 record. The gunslinger completed a league-record 293 passes for 3518 yards and 25 touchdowns with 14 interceptions, while also rushing for 228 yards and four touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see, who will replace the veteran and be Milano’s starting QB in 2024.
