Jadrian Clark named 2024 Championship Game MVP
The fourth Championship Game of the European League of Football (ELF) is in the books. In front of 41,364 spectators in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Rhein Fire defended their title for the first time in ELF history. In the end, they won 51:20 against a struggling Vikings team.
Quarterback Jadrian Clark played a big part in Fire's victory. The 30-year-old outperformed in his second championship game in a row. As in 2023, Clark once again led his team to victory and was named Championship Game MVP 2024. Alongside season MVP Glen Toonga, Rhein Fire now has two MVPs in its roster.
Clark showed his strengths at the right moments, completing 20 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns. But it's about more than just numbers. After the game, he received the MVP trophy, turned to his teammates and pointed to them. "This is for you, this is thanks to you." A true leader, who is not done yet.
"There is never enough in my mind. We gonna keep this thing rolling and find a way to come back. We are not done yet", the quarterback told German TV station "ProSieben" in an interview after the game.
