Former ELF star Kavontae Turpin hitting his stride in the NFL
Former Wröclaw Panthers receiver Kavontae Turpin is on pace for his best NFL season to date this year with over 500 all purpose yards through 8 games for the Dallas Cowboys. To date Turpin is the ELF’s brightest import success story taking his career from the ELF to becoming a established NFL contributor.
Turpin has a punt return touchdown this season and has also already topped his career high in catches with 12, including a touchdown. He remains a dangerous kick returner averaging a league best 35 yards a return.
Turpin of course played four games with the Polish franchise the Wröclaw Panthers in 2021 amassing 702 all-purpose yards during that time. The speedy receiver had a monster game against the Hamburg Sea Devils where he racked up 293 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.
Turpin used his ELF tape to move on to the USFL where he eventually won MVP with the New Jersey Generals. Following his MVP season in the USFL he signed with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys where he has played since 2022.
Turpin remains a inspiration to many ELF players that hope to take thier talents to the NFL.
