Weekly Roundup: franchises add roster depth and more

A lot of franchises in the European League of Football added talented players to their roster over the past seven days!

The last week in the European League of Football was full of news and headlines. Some signed game-changing players, others re-signed fan-favorites to their roster.

The Dragons re-signed Spanish linebacker Victor Albarracín and Spanish wide receiver Roque Alarcón to their roster for the 2022 season.

The Spanish franchise also announced a three-day training camp that will take place at the end of April with over 70 athletes.

The Centurions signed defensive lineman Mohamad Gafur and former Berlin Thunder wide receiver André Dickmeis to their roster. The German franchise also re-signed German linebacker Sydney Kenea Amadu.

The reigning champion re-signed German defensive back Simon Otto and German wide receiver Nico Strahmann for the 2022 season. The German franchise also signed former Division I defensive back Fabrizio Umetelli to their roster.

The Sea Devils re-signed running back Simon Homadi and signed German linebacker Pascal Brinkers, German linebacker Dustin Mohrdieck, and German offensive lineman Florian Rosenberger.

The Kings signed Swedish wide receiver Anton Jallai to their offense and re-signed German linebacker Martin Strauss.

The Rams signed one of the tallest and heaviest players in the European League of Football to date: Australian offensive lineman Sebastian Arenas.

The Turkish franchise also announced the hiring of Football Operations Manager Doruk Örnekci, Gameday Manager Tezcan Kayalar, Equipment Manager Andaç Şahinkaya, and Social Media Manager Aslinaz Aykaya.

Rhein Fire has signed a handful of players over the last week. German linebackers Alexander Sobotta and Maximilian Schmidt, defensive linemen Sebastian Fey and Ramazan Islikaye, and offensive lineman Philip Weinzierl and Marius Mohr will be part of the German franchise for the 2022 season.

The Vikings announced the signing of Austrian wide receiver Felix Reisacher and Austrian quarterback Alexander Reischl for the 2022 season.
