The Vienna Vikings have added another weapon for quarterback Jackson Erdmann to throw to. With Felix Reisacher comes a wide receiver that is capable of playing inside as well as outside, able to make special plays for the Austrian franchise.

Reisacher played previously for the Danube Dragons - based in Austria - and Vienna Knights, is part of the Austrian National team and a local superstar in the making. The 27-year old is in the perfect position to show his skill on the highest level.

Capital of football?

"Being from Vienna, I'm extremely excited to be part of the Vienna franchise in the ELF. The team is absolutely stacked with local and international talent. I can't wait to see what we can do on the big stage," said Reisacher and added: "I've followed the league from the very beginning. I think the ELF is a huge step in growing American Football in Europe and it gives local players an opportunity to compete at a professional level. It's now time to put Vienna on the map as the football capital of Europe."

Coming from Vienna, the receiver wants his hometown to be recognized. "No matter where I play, the goal is always the same: win the championship. I will do anything I can to help my team accomplish that goal."

Weapons for the offense

After already signing local talents like Florian Bierbaumer, Anton Wegan and Raoul Hrouda, the wide receiver-corps was even more reinforced by Finnish Athlete Kimi Linnainmaa and Italian routinier Jordan Bouah, able to make a splash.
