Keanu Ebanks strengthens Offensive Line for the Hamburg Sea Devils

New bodyguard for Jadrian Clark! Keanu Ebanks is the the last notable addition to the Hamburg Sea Devils roster for the inaugural season in the European League of Football. The 27-year-old lineman is not only strong offensively, but also defensively and therefore a real all-rounder.

At just under 1.98 meters tall and 139 kilogram, the British is one of Europe's top players and has already been discussed as a global prospect by several Canadian Football League teams and the international NFL Combine.

"My goal with the Hamburg Sea Devils is to go out on the court, compete and bring the Championship to Hamburg. I am very happy to be able to play in the European League of Football. There are a lot of talented players competing and it can only get bigger from here," says Ebanks about the chance to prove his athleticism with the Hamburg Sea Devils.

From 2013 to 2017, the giant played for the English University of Hull, where he gained his first football experience. Ebanks then played for the Hildesheim Invaders in the GFL from 2018 to 2019 as well as for the Stockholm Mean Machines in the Swedish league. The performances shown there called the officials of the Sea Devils on the plan. "I like him a lot. He is an athletic, hard-working player with a a good attitude. Keanu has great potential that we want to develop. Now he has to continue to adapt and adjust," Head Coach Ted Daisher said of his new player.

The signings of Ron Mac Spiegel, Henning Knuth, Timo Winter and now Ebanks are expected to provide a solid offensive line on June 20 at home against the Frankfurt Galaxy. For quarterback Jadrian Clark and running back Xavier Johnson a good support for the backfield.
