Munich Ravens present their home stadium
The Munich Ravens announced on live TV on Super Bowl Sunday that they will play their home games in the Sportpark Unterhaching. While it is normally a soccer-stadium for the fourth division club SpVgg Unterhaching, in the summer of 2023, American football will take over in the small suburb of Munich. Having hosted several Bundesliga matches as well, the 15.000 seet stadium is everything the Munich Ravens could wish for.
A must-visit for every fan
Opened in 1992, the stadium has four stands and even a beer garden when the sun is out. With a few spaces all around the stadium, even a power party for game days would be possible. Even without, the stadium is a must-visit in the upcoming season. The Munich Ravens under general manager Sebastian Stolz and head coach John Shoop are already well established in the city of Munich, finally bringing top-tier football to the Bavarian capital.
