More than 10.000 tickets for the 2023 Championship Game sold
European League of Football already sold over 10.000 tickets for Duisburg.

It was just two weeks ago that the European League of Football announced Duisburg as the venue for the 2023 Championship Game. Which two teams will fight for the crown of European football on September 24th in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena is completely open. But fans are euphorically awaiting the big final: More than 10.000 tickets have already been sold in advance - and the season doesn't start until June next year.

"We are absolutely overwhelmed that this mark has been broken so quickly. In some categories, tickets are almost soldout. It makes us proud that the European League of Football has already made its way into the hearts of supporters after just two years. We are anticipating the third season and the thought of the final weekend with a enormous football happening in Duisburg around the game gives us a warm feeling in our stomachs," says League Managing Director Zeljko Karajica.

Zeljko Karajica and Patrick Esume happy to present the European League of Football trophy.

Tickets are available from as little as 20 euros exclusively from Ticketmaster. The European League of Football is also offering attractive travel packages for the Championship Game, including hotel accommodation in Duisburg and tickets in various categories, on its homepage in the online shop.

It remains to be seen which teams will win in the regular season and the playoffs. What is clear, however, is that Patrick Esume, as Commissioner of the European League of Football, will once again present the trophy to the winner after the Championship Game. Who will join the list after Frankfurt Galaxy (2021 in Düsseldorf) and the Vienna Vikings (2022 in Klagenfurt), both of whom were successful against the Hamburg Sea Devils?

Have you seen this yet?

"The field of participants continues to grow, the sporting level will rise again and there is no doubt that it will be close. I expect several teams that are absolutely on par on the level of play. To all those who are still looking for a fitting Christmas present, I can only advise: Buy final tickets! It's going to be crispy, no football fan should miss it," emphasizes Commissioner Esume.

The season starts in June 2023, with six new franchises competing for a place in the Championship Game of the European League of Football: The Munich Ravens from Germany, the Milano Seamen from Italy, the Prague Lions from the Czech Republic, the Fehérvár Enthroners from Hungary, the Helvetic Guards from Switzerland and the Paris Football Team from France.
