Leipzig Kings sign Serbian wide receiver Nemanja Stojanović

Just one day after losing their starting quarterback Michael Birdsong to retirement, the Kings sign an athletically gifted wide receiver!

The Leipzig Kings announced the signing of Serbian wide receiver Nemanja Stojanović to their roster for the 2022 season, as reported by the German franchise.

The 21-year-old wide receiver started to play American football in 2017 with the Belgrade Blue Dragons. “My brother who also played for the Dragons before me got me into football since I was a kid and when I turned 17, I decided to start playing […]”, Stojanović notes.

With his 198cm and 92kg, the big-bodied wide receiver is ready to take the biggest stage for American football in Europe. “This will be my first season outside of Serbia and I can’t wait to put the pads on and get to work!”.
