Kids inside the Clubs! European League of Football organizes Junior Player Development Camp

During the summer vacations for young people between 10 and 16 years there is Football around the
clock! The European League of Football starts a youth camp for American football in cooperation with
the AFCV Hamburg e. V. The Junior Player Development Camp is intended to give young people in
Hamburg who have no previous experience, the opportunity to get to know the sport of football.

It is a wish of the responsible persons to promote the youth sport and the clubs and to get socially
involved. True to the motto: "Kids in the clubs, kids for the sport inspire."

From Monday, July 26, 2021, to Wednesday, July 28, 2021, the youth will gather at the Hamburg
Pioneers Field, to play under the athletic direction of Hamburg Sea Devils coaches with the support of
the clubs between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. every day.

"Getting kids and teens excited about our great sport is one of the most important obligations we
have. Only if we are able to get more kids involved in our local clubs we have a chance to survive in the
future, not only as a league but as a sport," says Patrick Esume, Commissioner of the European League
of Football, about hosting the JPD Camp.

A total of 128 kids will be able to take part in the camp, with a certain contingent of starting places
available for aid projects. The camp will be free of charge for all participants and meals will be provided.
The registration runs via the website of the European League of Football: europeanleague.football

All clubs under the umbrella of the AFCV Hamburg e. V. will have the opportunity to present
themselves and their work. In cooperation with the clubs Hamburg Huskies, Hamburg Pioneers,
Hamburg Ravens, Hamburg Swans, Hamburg United, Hamburg Blue Devils and Buxtehude Jackrabbits
a direct contact between the clubs and interested parties can be established.

Max Paatz, General Manager of the Hamburg Sea Devils commented: "The cooperation with the
Hamburg Association on the subject of JPD Camp is absolutely the right way. Together we want to
make it easier for young tackle football and impart important values for further sporting and social
development. Our sport is currently experiencing a huge boom; this should ultimately benefit all local
teams and clubs in the long term. Accordingly, this joint project is very important to us."

The European League of Football and the AFCV Hamburg e.V. are looking forward to many enthusiastic
youngsters.
