Istanbul Rams sign American defensive back Jamarii Milliken

After signing linebacker Zachary Blair and wide receiver Jalen Conwell, the Rams announced the signing of their third American import player.

The Istanbul Rams sign American defensive back and wide receiver Jamarii Milliken to their 2022 roster, as the team announced on social media.

The North Carolina native already impressed in college when he recorded 141 total tackles and 21 pass break-ups for the Furmann University in the NCAA Division I. The four-time defensive player of the week also runs a 4.59 40-yard dash, according to ESPN. After his college career was over, Milliken attended the rookie minicamp of the Washington Redskins, now Washington Football Team, in the NFL.

Rams head coach and general Manager Val Gunn also commented on signing Milliken to the upcoming 2022 season:

“Jamarii is an explosive, athletic, and physical player. This league is filled with talented receivers, and we needed a lockdown cornerback. He has tremendous speed and agility, so we feel Jamarii [Milliken] can match up very well against top level competition. He’s also another one for us who will be dangerous in the kicking game.”
