Hot Take Friday: Best kicker in the league?

The European League of Football had some really good kickers last season. Besides All-Stars Eric Schlomm and Jonas Schenderlein, there are guys with enormous kicking power like Frankfurt Galaxy kicker Ryan Rimmler, who scored four 50+ yard field goals, or highly accurate Mehmet Furkan Sarikatipoğlu. But there is a new standout coming to the league this season. Munich Ravens kicker Robert Werner.
The Brandenburg native, who played in the youth team of German soccer club Energie Cottbus, played 10 years for the Munich Cowboys. Werner has been known as one of the most talented kickers in Germany. The now Ravens kicker is a three-time GFL All-Star and the all-time leading scorer in Munich Cowboys history. Werner played outstanding last season, nailing 14/15 field goas and 38/39PATs. A performance that could very well translate into the European League of Football, something Munich Ravens fans should be as excited as Director of Sports Operations and former MVP Sean Shelton is.

Since Werner is also punting, I think that he and Eric Schlomm are the two hottest names for the Special Teams Player of the Year award for the upcoming season. Can Schlomm win the title back to back or will Werner crown himself as the best special teams player in the league?
