Hamburg Sea Devils part ways with Head Coach Ted Daisher - Andreas Nommensen takes over against Thunder

Despite the two victories at the start of the premiere season of the European League of Football
against Frankfurt Galaxy and most recently at the Barcelona Dragons, those responsible for the
Hamburg Sea Devils made the decision yesterday, Monday, to relieve head coach Ted Daisher of his
duties with immediate effect.

"In recent weeks, it has unfortunately become apparent that we had different views and
expectations regarding the philosophy and leadership of our team. Therefore, it is only consistent to
make a change at the top, regardless of success. Sometimes such steps are necessary to really
unleash the full potential of a team," explains General Manager Max Paatz and adds: "We thank Ted
Daisher for his work in Hamburg and wish him all the best for his future."

Current Offense Coordinator and Hamburg native Andreas Nommensen will lead the Sea Devils as
interim coach on Sunday (3 p.m.) at home against Berlin Thunder. Linebackers coach Kendrall Elison
will take over the defense most recently led by Ted Daisher.

"With Coach Nommensen and Coach Ellison, we have two experienced coaches who are well
entrenched with the team and will seamlessly take over the duties and responsibilities that have
been vacated," said Paatz, looking ahead to the task at hand. "Whether we will present a new head
coach for the rest of the season or continue in this constellation, we will decide calmly and carefully
in the coming days," said the general manager of the "Sea Devils".
