European League of Football: Esume sees potential in Leipzig
League boss Patrick Esume sees great potential for success for the new European League of Football in Leipzig. "The city promises great growth," the 47-year-old told Bild on Thursday. The Leipzig Kings will compete alongside seven other teams in the league, which starts in mid-June. The Kings will play their opening game at Berlin Thunder on June 20. In addition, Hamburg and the Polish team Wroclaw will play in the northern group. The top two teams qualify for the semifinals.
