Sunday's championship game in Klagenfurt, Austria, will be the crowning moment of the 2022 season in the European League of Football. But behind the scenes, those responsible are working intensively on the further development of the league in all areas. Now, Managing Director Zeljko Karajica and Commissioner Patrick Esume can announce another major partner: ZEITFRACHT will be the main partner, the contract runs until 2024 for the time being.

"This is great news and a great signal for our league. We are very proud to have once again won an internationally successful and such an established company like ZEITFRACHT as a strong supporter of the European League of Football. In the trusting discussions it quickly became clear that both sides share the same goals and visions for our sport, namely to take responsibility and to want to achieve the highest quality. It is a perfect match," emphasizes Zeljko Karajica.

"Football is the sport that is becoming more and more important in Germany. As a franchisor, the European League of Football is instrumental in making football known and popular in Europe. Joining the European League of Football as one of its main partners with our brands rounds off our commitment to football. As the ZEITFRACHT Group, we are very happy to be able to accompany the development of this sport in Europe from the very beginning. We, at any rate, have caught fire for this great sport," says Martin Bader, Sports Director at ZEITFRACHT.

The third-generation family-owned company with headquarters in Kleinmachnow and around 6500 employees has not only closely followed the first steps of the European League of Football, since 2022 the group has been a shareholder in the still reigning champion Frankfurt Galaxy and supports the franchise with McTREK, Speedlink and MyRacoon, all brands of the ZEITFRACHT Group.

"Therefore, it was obvious for us to also support the European League of Football as a long-term partner. We are convinced that our brands fit the league very well. They will be increasingly visible on TV on ProSieben MAXX during the live broadcasts of the European League of Football and will also present themselves to TV viewers throughout the season with prize draws," continues ZEITFRACHT Sports Director Martin Bader.

Next year, the European League of Football will enter its third season. Then 18 teams from ten nations will compete. After Berlin Thunder, Hamburg Sea Devils, Frankfurt Galaxy, Cologne Centurios, Leipzig Kings, Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge (all Germany), Vienna Vikings and Raiders Tirol (both Austria), Barcelona Dragons (Spain), Panthers Wroclaw (Poland) and Istanbul Rams (Turkey), six newcomers are at the start: Munich Ravens (Germany), Milano Seamen (Italy), Helvetic Guardians (Switzerland), Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary) as well as teams from Paris (France) and Prague (Czech Republic).
