The Vienna Vikings announced the signing of three offensive lineman to their roster for the 2022 season, as reported by the franchise.

OL – Lukas Holub

As one of the youngest players, 19-year-old Lukas Holub (photo) will certainly benefit to play in the best American football league in Europe. “My personal goal for the season is to learn new things from experienced players and to get a little better each and every day”, Holub explained.

OL – Matthew Daltrey

The Vikings also announced the signing of Scottish offensive lineman Matthew Daltrey who played for the Helsinki Rooster over the past three years.The 26-year-old will now join one of the best teams in Europe to win it all.

“I have no doubt with the team we have amassed at the Vikings this season that the sky is the limit for us. As for my personal goals, I just want to do whatever I can to help benefit the team and to have a great time with my new football family in Vienna!", Daltrey stated with excitement.

OL – Clemens Walz

22-year-old Clemens Walz is the third offensive lineman the Vikings announced. With his 183cm and 120kg, the Austrian athlete looks forward to compete on the highest level in Europe: “As a player you always want to compete whether it ́s in practice or on gamedays”. He added:  “You always want to get better and to do so you need to compete against the best competition possible. The European League of Football is THE highest level of play right now in Europe”.

The Vikings already signed a lot of impact-players to their roster. On offense, player like Walz, Daltrey, and Holub just add to the talented group of players.
