Barcelona Dragons to host 2022 Training Camp

The Barcelona Dragons will host a three-day training camp with 71 athletes!

Less than three months left until the second season of the European League of Football kicks off and the Barcelona Dragons are in full action.

Today, the Spanish franchise announced a three-day training camp at the end of April. Over 70 athletes will compete for a spot on the active roster for the Barcelona Dragons as some of the attendees are not signed by the franchise yet.

For example, British tight end Henry Rowland will attend the training camp in hopes of being signed by the Dragons for the upcoming season.

However, American players like quarterback Zach Edwards, wide receiver Kyle Sweet, and defensive back Jacob O’Connell will be at the training camp as well. Other well-known European players like German defensive back Niko Lester, former Italian NFL kicker Giorgio Tavecchio, French wide receiver Benjamin Plu, and tight end Igor Maslanka are on the list as well.

It will be interesting to see how all teams in the European League of Football will use the months leading up to the start of the 2022 season. It’s needless to say that the Dragons are off to a hot start!
