Frankfurt Galaxy sign French standout Kevin Kaya

Getting a weapon at the wideout position!

Getting a weapon at the wideout position: The Frankfurt Galaxy has signed former CFL draft prospect Kevin Kaya for the 2024 season. At 1,92 m, the Nancy, France, native played lastly for the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL from 2021 to 2023, also having a history at the University of Montreal, where he had 597 receiving yards and one touchdown in 2019. Until 2015, Kaya played for the Thetford Academy in England.

Leaving his mark in the ELF

"We want to attack with the offense this year and Kevin is the final piece of the puzzle. He is an exceptional wide receiver who will create a lot of plays with his size and move to the ball. I'm pretty sure he will leave his mark in the ELF," said Head Coach Thomas Kösling.

New energy for the offense

The 29-year-old will now suit up in purple, joining Luke Zahradka and the team in the German metropolis. Kaya brings great hands and experience, while also possessing a huge frame and range to catch the football. Offensive Coordinator Frank Roser can be happy with the new pick-up, with the Galaxy having great history in bringing in French receivers like Anthony Mahoungou or Cheikou Sow.
